We know that you recognize the amount of effort, the number of hours, and the quantity of services and supplies required to keep a thousand ornery bicyclists well-supplied and happy for a week on the road. The following organizations and businesses give generously of their time and treasure to make that happen. A hearty thanks is deserved by them all ... take a minute to share your thanks, either while on the ride or through a note, email, or phone call after your return home. They need to know how much we all appreciate them!

"It takes a village" to support the community of riders that make up the FreeWheel peloton each June. Listed below are a few of the folks who assist us each year in making the riders safe, sheltered, clean, and more. Be sure to thank them for the services they provide; we think they do a mighty good job!

If you're in need of a riding partner, would like to learn more about cycling from knowledgeable folks, or just socialize with a group of folks not afraid to parade around in spandex and padded shorts, then your local bike club is the place to begin your quest. Large and small communities across Oklahoma have organized groups of cyclists that ride frequently and would be glad to increase their numbers and share their expertise. Listed below are those we know about. If you know of others we've missed, contact us and we'll be glad to add a link to your favorite club!

Oklahoma's moderate climate lends itself to a year-round calendar of cycling events for bicycle riders in the state. Whether you're looking for a leisurely ride witht the family or a challenging century, you're sure to find a ride near you that will fit the bill. Oklahoma is blessed to have a host of top notch local bicycle shops to support the cycling community. FreeWheel encourages you to support your favorite local bike shop throughout the year.
