Welcome to OKFreeWheel on the web! 2011 will mark the 33rd edition of Oklahoma's premier bicycle touring event. Plan now to join over a thousand cyclists, support staff, and family members as they gather near the Texas-Oklahoma state line for the trek north to Kansas. We'll sample the best that small-town Oklahoma has to offer. Folks along the route share their communities with the throng of passing riders, providing food, entertainment, overnight accommodations, local history, and so much more!

Registration is available at 7am the day of the ride and the rides begin at 8am. This ride is sponsored by the Neosho Lions Club and supports their activities in the community. The 62-mile route takes riders to four states! Not bad for one day's ride.

The ride begins at the historic Sante Fe Depot in Downtown and includes a scenic tour of southern Oklahoma countryside and the shores of Lake Murray. Saturday, June 11th, 2011	Lawton, OK	Tour of the Wichitas Enjoy a ride of 2, 10, 40, 50, or 60 miles through Ft. Sill and the Wichita Mountains. Start is at the Museum of the Great Plains at 8am. You can ride a shorter route through historic Ft Sill or one of the longer routes into the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, returning past Mt Scott and through Medicine Park. This is a "smell the roses" ride; look around and enjoy!

Monday, July 4th, 2011	Stillwater, OK	Tour of Payne Stillwater's annual 4th of July Tour, though it's on the 5th this year! The Tour of Payne is an organized bicycle ride offering 26, 36, 62, and 100 mile routes. It is sponsored by Stillwater's Red Dirt Pedalers Bicycle Club. An annual patriotic bicycle ride on various routes within Payne County. Participants are invited to the city's "Boomer Blast" celebration that evening.
Saturday, July 9th, 2011	Joplin, MO	Tornado Alley 110 The festival begins on July 8th with registration and get acquainted time The ride will be on Saturday with 3 routes, 30(ish) miles, 77(ish) and then the adventurous 110(ish) mile course through Missouri, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
Saturday, July 30th, 2011	Duncan, OK	The Duncan Dehydrator - 21st year The Dehydrator bicycle ride and race is held annually the last Saturday in July. The event is hosted by the Duncan Band Boosters and is one of the primary fundraisers for the Duncan Public Schools Band program.
Saturday, August 6th, 2011	Altus, OK	Diamondback 100 Begins and finishes at the Altus city reservoir. 100 mile, 65 mile, 40 mile and 30 mile routes through the scenic flatlands of southwest Oklahoma; also 10 mile family fun ride around the Altus reservoir. Ride begins at 7 am passing through the communities of Altus, Martha, Mangum, Granite, Quartz Mountain State Park, Blair and Friendship.
Saturday, August 13th, 2011	Bethany, OK	Spin Your Wheels This non-competitive tour benefiting children with medical and physical disabilities at The Children's Center is hosted by members of the West Oklahoma City Rotary Club. Spin Your Wheels offers 12, 23, 50, 100K (62 mile), and 100 mile courses beginning at 7:30 a.m. on The Children's Center's front lawn, 6800 NW 39th Expressway in Bethany, just east of Rockwell.
