850 Rider Limit - Registration Opens Early in February
Registration, both on-line and through printed/mailed registration form, will be available in early February.
And the ride limit has been adjusted down from 1,000 to 850 riders, recognizing the number of riders, and non-riders, that we
can support well and that our host communities can accommodate effectively.
So, keep an eye open for our announcement of registration being open and get yours in early. There's also a significant
discount for those who register prior to the end of April.
2012 Jersey Design Competition
12/08/2011 Have you ever had a design idea for a FreeWheel jersey? If so, 2012 may be the year that we use YOUR design! We are holding an official FreeWheel design contest,
and anyone is free to enter. You don't need any fancy software – it can be as simple as a sketch with pencil on napkin.
All you have to do is send your entries to: P.O. Box 470069, Tulsa OK 74147 by January 31, 2012.
If you have an electronic version, please save to pdf format and send to director@okfreewheel.com, also by the January 31st deadline.
Do not forget to include your name and contact information with your entry. The winner will receive a full week's FreeWheel registration (transferable), as well as
a 2012 jersey. Oh – did I forget to mention bragging rights?!
Note: Your design can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be, but keep in mind that this is for a bicycle jersey with three pockets on the back.

Thursday, January 19, 2012 - Route Announced!
FreeWheel director, Joy Hancock, was joined by over 75 FreeWheel enthusiasts at OSU's Health Sciences Center for the announcement of the 2012 FreeWheel route. Over 100 more interested cyclists
were chatting and tweeting online with Tulsa Bicycle Club president, Terri Sullivan, getting the news in real time!

But here's the route, since that's what you've been waiting for:
Frederick, Elgin, Anadarko, Watonga, Guthrie, Drumright, Ponca City, and South Haven, KS
TULSA - A FreeWheel Oklahoma seminar will be held Thursday Jan. 19th to announce this years route. FreeWheel director Joy Hancock along with the FreeWheel board will also hold a question and answer session.
This is one of Oklahomas hidden treasures. Channel 2 will be along for this years ride once again, so saddle up and start training for this years ride.
