FreeWheel 2006 traversed a route south to north over the forested hills of
the eastern part of the state. The starting point was Hugo, OK, near the Texas border, but still in
Oklahoma. So those who wanted to claim the "full crossing" arrived on
Saturday, June 10th, so they could make the short run from Hugo, to the Oklahoma-Texas border,
then back to Hugo.
The host city destinations for 2006 were:
Day 0 - Hugo
Day 1 - Atoka
Day 2 - Wilburton
Day 3 - Warner
Day 4 - Tahlequah
Day 5 - Pryor
Day 6 - Grove
Day 7 - Baxter Springs, KS
