the week of the 29th).
Just click on the button below and you'll be taken to the Raceit FreeWheel store where you can order your jersey or tee. Do it now

2012-04-30 We Want You - SAGs - We are in need of licensed and capable volunteers to be Support and Gear (SAG)
drivers for our cyclists. However, due to liability concerns, we are no longer allowing people to sign up as SAG drivers during the

If you are interested in being a SAG driver, please contact the director at director@okfreewheel.com.
2012-04-24 Joy's 2nd Blog - A view into her past? - If you thought you knew FreeWheel's new director, Joy Hancock, you may want to rethink that.
In Joy's second blog, she reveals a bit of her past and shares some smart tips on sports nutrition.
Here's a brief sample ...
Food, Don't you just love it? I sure do. In fact, before I got into this whole bike riding gig roughly 10 years ago, I was 50 pounds heavier,
a chain smoker, and, after living in Russia for a couple years, could hold my own with just about anyone when it came to vodka ...

2012-04-13 Where will we be staying in Frederick (Elgin, Anadarko, ...)? Our facebook friends and others have been asking for more
specific information regarding where in each overnight host community we will be staying. So, we've posted that information in the
"Host Cities" section of the 2012 page along with links to online maps of the specific area.
As with all "plans," things could change. But, barring flooding (remember 2010 in Seminole?) or other unanticipated events, these locations
should be good. Of course, if you're on the ride, the route is marked all the way into camp and you'll have a map, so we're guessing you want
this info for family and friends coming to wish you well!
2012-03-22 Get On The ToughWheel Express! - Two of Oklahoma’s great cycling events – Saint Francis Tulsa Tough and Oklahoma FreeWheel – are joining forces this
year to ensure cyclists can participate in both events.
Because of Saint Francis Tulsa Tough’s designation on the USA Cycling National Criterium Calendar, the event is restricted on dates it can be held,
which has resulted in an overlap with Oklahoma FreeWheel. Not to worry. Event organizers devised a plan that will allow cyclists the opportunity to
participate in both. The ToughWheel Express will transport Cyclists to join (or leave) FreeWheel in Guthrie on Wednesday, June 13th,
for just thirty bucks! Read all about it
and reserve your seat on the Tulsa Tough website!
2012-03-16 New Sponsor Joins FreeWheel - FreeWheel director, Joy Hancock, announced the addition of RoadID as a FreeWheel sponsor at the final Tulsa seminar
on March 15th. Hancock indicated that RoadID would be providing gift certificates for use as prizes on this year's FreeWheel in addition to their contributing
a percentage of sales to FreeWheel for purchases made from the FreeWheel website.
If you are a runner, cyclist, triathlete or just an active person, Road ID is for you. In the event of an accident, if you can't speak for yourself, your
Road ID will. It's not just a piece of gear - it's peace of mind. Cyclists can get separated from their identification in accident situations. Having the RoadID
on your wrist, ankle, shoe, etc., provides first responders the critical information they need when they need it. If you don't have a RoadID or similar product,
please consider clicking on the link above to order yours, benefiting you and FreeWheel ... it's a win-win proposition.
In addition to the signature RoadID bracelets, RoadID offers a number of products of interest to cyclists and other active individuals. The RoadID website
also has a wealth of information including their "Rules of the Road" video series. These videos were created in response to the numerous cycling-related accidents that
we all hear about on a regular basis. The goal of the videos is to help make cycling safer for everyone that rides a bike. Take a moment to watch these educational videos...then,
share them with your friends and family.
2012-03-16 2012 Jersey and Tee designs - Here are the designs for the 2012 FreeWheel Jersey and T-Shirt; as the tag lines says, Let yourself go! and order yours now
or plan to pick one up when you get your packet or on Sunday, June 10, in Frederick, OK!
Not bad for FreeWheel's first ever jersey design competition. The winner will receive one of these beautiful jerseys in recognition of their efforts.
The jersey manufacturer this year is Atac, the same company FreeWheel has used for the last three years. The jerseys are a "club cut", a little less form-fitting than
the race cut, and sizing generally is the same as you might select for a standard T-shirt. Why wait, orders your now!
To order jerseys or tees, go to the Raceit Shop, or order when you register for FreeWheel 2012.
For sizing information, see Atac's sizing page and check out the info for "classic fit".
2012 will mark the 34th edition of Oklahoma's premier bicycle touring event.

We'll sample the best that small-town Oklahoma has to offer. Folks along the route
share their communities with the throng of passing riders, providing food, entertainment,
overnight accommodations, local history, and so much more!
Read on, and check back often, for details related to FreeWheel and related events! And, if you
don't find answers to all of your questions, browse the FAQs and other sections of the web site,
post a note on our forum, or contact us via email or phone.
